ran the errand. I hate to leave the house but once I get out it's not so bad. loaded up the car with donation stuff. inspiration....going to make a dress for The Doll. out of the white satin bridal gown that used to be The Ghost Bride. also found an American Doll book and a twig doll was marked....that project is now open on the desk. eventually the entire doll shelf will be part of the Creepy Corner. slowly clearing off shelves....need to find something to drape on walls.....thinking on that one. my mind works in mysterious ways.

Each way, mind you. takes a good half hour chunk out of my day. errands suck ass. I also savagely murdered 2 flies in my house today. want to live, blood sucking nuisances, stay the fuck out of my house. don't shit in Bigfoots woods, and don't buzz into debs house. discovered that there is a Red Racks 10 minutes from the Vaile and they are open on Saturday till 9 p.m! will load up the car again and make more room in basement! Kevin's not a fan of the whole giving away stuff. but it is what it is.

Kevin started researching his guns and moving them into the safe. I got the quilts all downstairs and stored and started lugging down stuff out of the garage and am stacking it up along a wall in a space I 'made'. finally talked myself out of my foul mood, went to work and realized I don't have Thursday off and I'm working 13 motherfuckingdaysinarow. at my parttimejob. KJ visited me at work and shared some of his teacher frustrations and I got over myself. Kevin made supper while I was at work, he requested I make some of my 'world famous potatoes.' getting lots of compliments on the changing appearance of the farm.

I think a fenced yard and a puppy door would help my state of mind. Rusty and I are at different stages in our lives. I want to sit in my chair in the dark and watch documentaries. he wants to sit in the yard and watch butterflies and clouds. many things are up my ass today. many many things. is it because it's our anniversary and we're working opposite shifts? 'cause that didn't bother me yesterday. the weird unsettling dreams of the last 2 nights? probably. Dad decided to do what the attorney didn't do....get the truth. got the nicest compliment on my hair today.....

Aunt Mary told me about an event at The Vaile and I work that weekend, but just mornings, so bought tickets. gotta live a little. and haven't been to The Vaile for a while. this won't get me into the attic or the basement (which I am determined to someday accomplish) but we will get alcohol and ghost stories about The Vaile.

Henry Lee Lucas is kind of like Jesus Christ in my book, Jesus died for all the sins that everybody else committed. and here is Henry, trying to pay for all the murders who knows how many other people committed. he didn't get put to death in prison. but he did die in prison. and it's mentioned several times how abusive his mom was. hitting your kid in the head with a 2x4 does seem a bit extreme. he had brain damage. but he comes off as a likeable enough chap. eager to please. why, hell yes, I killed a girl in Oklahoma. um, north? south? oh yeah, you're right. east Oklahoma. on the interstate? a gravel road? a cornfield? yeah, yeah, yeah, in a strip mall. by the Dunkin Donuts. no, no, no. the Taco Bell. you're right, you're right. by the dumpster out back. right, right. and I shot her. strangled her? stabbed her? beat her to death. I remember that now. yep. that's right. the next day I was in China hanging a gal from a light pole. drove right over there to China. had to drive all night. damn near 'bout drove the tires off the car. took 3 tanks of gas, by God.

Henry had an IQ of 87. 20 of his 'murders' have been solved and the real killer found. many cases have not been reopened.
