Kevin's been doing grocery runs after work. I've just been to and from work and ran KJ uptown and back to get the oil changed in my truck. I would be 100% down with self-quarentine, but I'd get fired. still, trying to do my part. my fingers are burning from being online and my poor eyes reddish from watching tv and reading....not so much creative basement stuff going on, though I did whip up a large fabric easter egg to put in front yard for #easteregghunt. and picked up a few limbs from the wind the other day.

Trump extends federal social distancing guidelines to April 30
On Sunday, however, Trump seemed to acknowledge that the spread of the virus had not slowed, at least not yet. He said that modeling shows that the peak of the death rate will likely hit in two weeks, but stressed that he hopes the country will be on its way to recovery by June 1. "We can expect that by June 1st, we will be well on our way to recovery, we think by June 1st. A lot of great things will be happening," he said. Trump reiterated his intent to return life to normal. "I want our life back again," he said. The White House's social distancing guidance advises all Americans to avoid groups of more than 10 and urges older people to stay at home.
The scale of the outbreak was given stark urgency Sunday by Dr. Anthony Fauci, the top infectious disease specialist, who predicted on CNN that more than 100,000 Americans could eventually die from coronavirus with millions more infected.
Hold our hands. Let us grieve. Of course we know it could be worse. We know that some of you missed your graduation because you were being shipped off to Vietnam. We know it because you continue to tell us. And we thank you for your sacrifice, but it's not a contest. And if it is, okay, you win. But the thing is, we are kids, even though we don't always want to admit it. Some of us have led sheltered lives, and this is our first hard-knock-life lesson. Some of us have led miserably hard lives and this is just another disappointment. Regardless, we are upset. We have spent four years listening to our families and friends tell us how wonderful this year would be. We watched our siblings go to prom and walk across the stage at graduation as we all cheered. We wanted the same. We won't get it. It's okay for us to be sad. Don't scoff at us. Hold our hands. Let us grieve. Show us the way.

so, we're far enough into the coronavirus now that the car companies are making commercials about being safe. washing your hands. being aware. everyone is convincing us how in times like these they have our best interests at heart. restaurants. insurance companies. and Tiger King has me thinking about all those little zoos and wild life places we've been....the swamp tour in Louisiana. the bear place in South Dakota. the big cat rescue in Eureka Springs. the zoo in Branson. Tupelo Buffalo Park in Mississippi. the drive through wildlife place in south Missouri. do they have stories and secrets? then I fell asleep watching the GAC investigate Aaron's dad's house and woke up watching Katrina and Jack in the ShangHai tunnels. now it's a show in Malvern, Iowa. hey, I've been there. Josh from Malvern Manor is on! his brother James lives in a haunted house....my heartburn is super super bad tonight. super super bad. but it's probably ok. right? I have to work this weekend. I can't die.

John Finlay -- one of the stars of the hit Netflix docuseries 'Tiger King' and Joe Exotic's ex-husband -- has a nice new set of pearly whites ... that almost make him look like a different person. John tells TMZ ... he actually got his teeth redone in July 2019 all at once -- they're dentures -- and he's a little miffed at Netflix and the filmmakers because they never showed it. We're told there's plenty of footage and photos of John fixing his smile but for whatever reason ... none of it made the final cut of 'Tiger King.'

I learned about something today that I have done my whole life:
Grounding, or ‘earthing,’ as some people call it, involves placing your feet directly on the ground without shoes or socks as a barrier. The logic behind this practice relates to the intense negative charge carried by the Earth. This charge is electron-rich, theoretically serving as a good supply of antioxidants and free-radical destroying electrons.
I also have been known to throw open windows for fresh air and curtains for sunlight...things my husband is not a fan of, so usually only do so when he's not home.
I used to watch all the ghost shows. then it seemed like there just wasn't enough time. so I cut down to 2: Dead Files and Ghost Adventures.
just watched the new GA....they were helping a family in Antelope, CA. the mom is beautiful. well put together. adorably dressed. nice nails. full makeup that doesn't run or smudge when she cries or receives a minor exorcism. her grandma committed suicide. her ex committed suicide in front of her and she has a box of his momentoes she doesn't want to part with, although it seems to be the source of her problems. even at the end she is whining that she couldn't take a picture. she had her phone in her hand most of the show. bet you money she got a picture of that box and that the GA crew and Sister Mary Joan and Father can't remember his name will be back. cause I'm not really sure she wanted to be free from whatever this was...and her poor husband, his grannie was a witch turned Christian. not sure how that figures in, but this was a relationship made in heaven. I notice that the people on GA are usually better dressed than the ones on The Dead Files. I mean...if you're meeting the GA crew, even under horrible circumstances...they are the GA crew.
and to be fair, on Dead Files, these people are usually in horrible circumstances. can't afford to move. can't break the lease. afraid the haunting will follow them. already killed several of their family members. grim stuff.

Homes are putting stuffed animals in windows and on porches so families can go on bear hunts, whether in their cars or on walks. Dear Friend, This past week, we saw our first deaths in Missouri due to the novel coronavirus, or COVID-19. While this has been a trying time for all of us, my thoughts and prayers go out to the family, friends and loved ones who have endured such terrible losses. It’s a somber reminder to all of us that as this virus continues to spread, we all need to do our part to stop it. While this virus attacks the elderly and those with compromised immune systems to a greater degree, any age is susceptible to getting sick and can spread it. It’s likely that all of us have a family member or loved one who could be at serious risk if they catch COVID-19. That’s why now, more than ever, social distancing is critical. If you don’t have to be out and about, stay home. Every school in the state of Missouri is now closed and Governor Mike Parson announced that gatherings of 10 or more people are prohibited. While all of these measures are critical to slowing the spread of COVID-19, it’s also been devastating for many small businesses. Earlier this week, Governor Parson requested assistance for Missouri business owners through the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Economic Injury Disaster Loan program. The program offers targeted, low-interest disaster recovery loans for Missouri small businesses that have been severely impacted by coronavirus disruptions. Along with the entire Missouri congressional delegation, I sent a letter to the SBA urging quick approval of the Governor’s request and I’m grateful that the request was approved on Saturday. If you are a small business owner and need to apply for a loan, visit https://disasterloan.sba.gov/. We’ve already seen examples of folks making a concerted effort to patronize small businesses in whatever way they can, whether by ordering take out or buying gift cards for later use. These are great ways to shop local and help out these Mom and Pop operations that will undoubtedly struggle through this—as long as you continue to social distance in the process. Obviously, those out of work are hurting as well. The bill that we passed last week, which President Trump signed into law, will give our workers the opportunity to use paid sick leave if they have to quarantine themselves due to a COVID-19 infection or need to care for a family member who is ill with the virus. The Families First Coronavirus Response Act provides temporary federal coverage for paid sick and family leave to all employers with fewer than 500 employees. This coverage is provided using a tax credit for employers, so they aren’t shouldering the burden of paid leave either. The bill also provides additional assistance to states so those out of work due to COVID-19 don’t face unnecessary delay in getting unemployment claims processed or receiving payments. Congress continues to look at additional ways we can help Americans get through this unprecedented time in our nation’s history. The number one priority continues to be slowing the spread of this virus. Please take the recommended precautions, for yourself and for others. If you are experiencing the symptoms of coronavirus—fever, shortness of breath and coughing—please contact your doctor so they can make a determination as to what you need to do next. JOSEPH, Mo.)— Effective at 12:01am on Tuesday, March 24, 2020, and continuing until 11:59pm on Thursday, April 2, 2020, unless otherwise amended, withdrawn, or terminated, an amended declaration of a local state of emergency will enforce the following: • That, to the maximum extent possible, citizens of the City of St. Joseph, Missouri, are strongly encouraged to shelter in place, by remaining in their respective residences, avoiding contact with people with whom they do not reside, and avoiding public places except when necessary to obtain food, supplies, and medical treatment. • Businesses which are non-essential shall be prohibited from operating. Non-essential business are those that do not fall under the definition of essential as indicated below. • Essential businesses, as defined below, shall make reasonable efforts to require people to remain separated by physical space of at least six feet. • Travel may occur only for the purpose of attending work at an essential business, obtaining necessary food (including from restaurants), medicine, supplies, or pet supplies. Home for Wayward Baby Dolls: Well Challenge, Day 5. MOVE. Susannah has decided to do her bicycle exercise outside. Using a converted tricycle is hard work, but she is smiling because she has a little self reward planned for the end. (A shoutout to the folks that brought Miss S. all the way from Michigan. She is doing well and loves being outdoors after years in a dark closet.)
This building, built in 1888 and located at 219 W. 9th Street, has a long history of supernatural occurrences. Room 505 was the location of the suspicious death of a woman named Betsy Ward, and reports of voices, shadows, doors opening and closing have all been reported in or near that room. On the second floor, in 1990, the restaurant manager was stabbed to death by his dishwashers, and there have been reports of the feeling of being watched in that area. There have also been EVP's and pictures showing orbs and figures including a little girl in Victorian clothing being spotted on the 4th floor.

I took a lengthy chair nap, ran sweeper, did some spot cleaning in kitchen, updated phone list, washed sheets, made banana bread and sweet tea, and watched a couple bizarre amazon prime movies. Kevin is working overtime. Z is at mommy's. KJ is at Ann's.
