Q&A
What would you do with $50,000?
With $50,000, I would continue pursuing my college education to become a Social Worker. This money would enable me to pursue my Master’s Degree in the major, which would accredit me to help others on a higher level than before through counseling. As a licensed Social Worker, I plan to reach out to rural citizens where social reforms are often denied. I would also take my parents on their first plane ride to travel.
Why should you be voted Miss Jetset?
I should be voted Miss Jetset because I am passionate about helping others and would use the prizes to raise awareness for social well-being programs in rural Missouri. I represent small-town living and it is my goal to give back to the community that gave so much to me. I believe that you should always look and do your best!
What is your edge over the other candidates?
What pushes me over the edge from the other candidates is my heart. I have completed over 100 hours of volunteer work both in my community with a population of 300 and the Kansas City Metropolitan area. I have worked with young adults and teens on the special needs spectrum as well as taught at a local summer program for gifted students. I am on the Dean’s List at my college, where I have a 4.0 GPA, and was Salutitorian of my graduating high school class.
