there was previously one on pump 2 but before I saw it someone had tried to scratch it off pump....and now someone has placed another one. persistance. it's the little things. (disclaimer: not this girl. I know the President has no control over fuel prices at the pump. just like chickens have no control over egg prices at the grocery store. but we all have to have a sense of humor. I didn't vote for the Democrat OR the Republican presidential candidates. I usually don't. I go my own way and toss my vote into the wind. )

I got to Mom's an hour early for her tax appt. she is walking without walker. took cane with her just in case. she even walked up and down the ramp. she's ok. I didn't know for a while. that was a lot for a widow who worked too hard all her life and has a pacemaker. and she said she was using shower chair.

While there on the street it looked similar if they'd removed the front porches....now not quite so sure. hmmmmm. I was so smug. maybe they did a lot of remodeling on it? or maybe I'm just wrong.

spent some time with Miss Relda today. she reminds me a lot of Aunt Koren and Aunt Katie...sassy and confident. and a bit bossy.

we spent 2 hours at the park. there were some tears. an emergency stop for pink gum. she seems to be afraid of swings, but likes to swing. Daddy puts her in the baby swing, but Gramma ain't that tuff, so I held the handicapped swing while she climbed into it and she was all smiles swinging. She did a lot of sliding and a lot of hanging from the first rung of the monkey bars.
