Princess Zerelda & Gramma enjoy the beautiful Halloween moon...

-----I originally planned on dancing around a bonfire in a witch hat on Halloween, but I decided this the day before Halloween, and after work today, Princeton DG had no witch hats. and the wind was blustery. too blustery for open flame. so, changed the plan. adult beverage in a ghost glass. ouija board. and charging my crystals in the moonlight. will have to put buying a witch hat on my next fall list....Kevin & I went to supper at Toot Toots. ran into Annalee & Eduardo. always fun to see them. then to Walmart. which also had a sad lacking of witch hats. -----

this morning, I got Shaggy done....decided to stay with the sweater look. the new Bigfoot yarn I got was perfect for his hair.

moved on to Daphne. she has a sweater dress. didn't have any orange for her hair. looked in Aunt Kay's box....ta da! thinking maybe a gray sweater for Freddy....

THE MUD MAN OF METZ BRIDGE

As urban legend has it, a mud monster, or Mud Man, lives under the bridge. Some say the Mud Man is a spirit lingering from a fatal car accident that once occurred in the mud near the river; the body was never found. Others assert the tale was created by those who wanted to discourage teens from hanging out at the bridge or in the surrounding park at night. addresses listed as Mound Prairie and Metz, Iowa. sometimes a bigfoot hunter has to take some bigfoot along, just in case. there were tracks in sand under bridge, I thought tire tracks.
Kevin said Bigfoot dick tracks. he is quite the travel buddy. (he was also the only swinger on the Story City Swinging Bridge....)
also saw a deer on our travels....
and this underpass was worth the drive.....
and Kevin has been perfecting his selfie face....
we learned that sadly, The Big Steer was closed.
so we ate at Jethros instead. lunch was at HyVee cafe, I had turkey and noodles and mashed potatoes and a corn bread muffin. a. perfect. day.

Jinkies! when I realized I didn't have any orange to make Velma's sweater and matching socks, I found these old toe socks and Velma is rocking a whole new look. you go, girlfriend. no wonder you are my #1 choice for write in vote for President. I think you're every bit as qualified as the senior citizens we have running...

----I also did some sweeping in the basement, discovered the pipe was out of back of dryer (probably 'cause I was sweeping), did a massive untangling of the chain for Buckwheat, and then had to untangle my own hair from the tree by mailbox, which was almost as much fun as untangling the dog. have to go to work here in a bit. Martha called me to come in today, but I was already working tonight. it's a rough life, working a shift or 2 a week. really cuts into my time warp basement time..... #meanwhileinmybasementlair

Home Instead Senior Care (Fremont, NE) It was a great day in the office and it was wonderful seeing you during our virtual CAREGiver meetings. #Celebrating15Years #ThankyouCAREGivers #SpooktacularHalloween

might as well throw the damn Christmas tree up...my husband is already watching Hallmark Christmas movies....in. October.

o.m.g. I walked a mile at park. my ears got cold. KJ was asked to be HSBB girls coach. personally. and saw on Facebook that our daughter-in-law is engaged....

made a grand staircase (my own version of grand from cardboard, Sharpie, a ton of tape, and scrapbook paper...)

and something truly abandoned falling down old house worthy for the master bedroom staircase....

Millie is #3monthsold today! She is full of smiles and is working hard on sitting up

today I added greenery, a bat, orbs, a protection pouch, a nod to The Island of the Dolls and Home for Wayward Babydolls in attic, the front door frame, some ghosts....more tribute items...and some baby bottles in the doorway...

but really think I'm gonna tackle some staircases. then my masterpiece will (maybe?) be complete....didn't leave a lot of room for the paranormal investigators.....
--------------------------my next project will be The Scooby Doo Gang! Zoinks!

Krampus is finished...let the holidays begin ⛄☃️🎄🎁🍗🥧🍷👼🎅🤶🧑‍🎄

what I'm reading....

there is an angel in my basement and her name is Aunt Kay.

Mom gave me Aunt Kay's sewing box, it is packed full of glitter cord, beads, sequins, crochet hooks, tiny buttons, feathers, felt....when I need something for a project, like working on Krampus today, I'll be like "I wish I had a..." then I'll remember Aunt Kay's box and by ad there, what I need is usually there. She is a life saver. I hope she's looking down happy that she can help, and hopefully not cringing at the choices I make crafting....sometimes I think a ghost can be a happy memory. and I always have some of Aunt Kay when I look through this box.

meanwhile in my basement lair...I'm not much for following patterns OR directions, but. there. will. be. a. Krampus. in. my. house. this. Christmas.

.... The Victorian Haunted Doll House is a work in progress

lost several hours #inmybasementlair today.....have added Amityville Horror red eyes...more offerings and trigger items left in house (scavanged through Bratz & Barbie stuff....I'm not a hoarder, I am a storing-stuff-for-future-projects gal.) a Book of Black Magik. trash left by paranormal investigators. survelience equipment...we are talking epic Barbie flip phones and laptops!...upside down crosses..."spiderwebs" created by the glue gun...found the "front door" and some ivy while looking for bulb to replace burnt out one in stove hood..going to twist ivy around the tree in window, maybe some up sides of house....so that will continue on tomorrow...Boston messaged me and can't work Thursday night, so I will switch her.

The Bigfoot - A Documentary by Casual Preppers ----- #abigfootdocumentaryaday #alwayslookingforbigfoot #alwayslookingforbigfootmightaswelllookforswampthingtoo #ibelieve

In this documentary, the hosts of The Casual Preppers Podcast set out to learn about and search for "The Bigfoot". From basic research, to stories from people they know, to hiking and hunting for the Bigfoot in its own supposed territory. This primal being has captured the hearts and minds of explorers and adventure seekers around the world. Directors Coby Coonradt Starring Coby Coonradt, Cameron Hardy Genres Documentary-----I may have dozed off. not a stellar review, I know, but in my defense it is a cold, snowy October day and I was curled up in my chair with my blankie. they were good natured, just having fun looking for Bigfoot. and that's the way it should be. do your research, do your interviews, select your locations, hang your game cameras and do your due diligence. and have fun. Bigfoot expects no less from you.

was it Bigfoot? the daughter? paranormal? did he kill someone? did he shoot himself? wtf?

LEAVING DC--------------------------- After 20 years of living in Washington, D.C., Mark Klein seeks solace in the remote wilds of West Virginia. To ease his loneliness, he sends video updates to members of his OCD-support group back in the city. But from the woods surrounding his new home, something else watches and waits. Directors Joshua Criss Starring Joshua Criss, Karin Crighton, Jeff Manney Genres Drama, Horror, Arthouse, Suspense---------------------I'm not sure wtf happened here...but I was on the edge of my seat.

working on my Victorian Haunted Doll House....

have a pentagram on attic floor....hot glued dishes on my homemade stove, painted the fireplace black with Sharpie and made a crystal ball out of a marble and a button, and glued that tiny key on top. shredded some curtains. found a 'tree' to grow in through upstairs master bedroom window. printed out ghosts inside, and ghosts to gaze outside through windows. glued chamber pots to floor, and beds. flipped the chair on its side. going to put in some more spirits, and a ouija board. life is good, folks. life is good. oh yeah. woke up to snow today. Cody took a snow day and played outside with the kids.

made a voodoo doll, washed new sheets. Kevin said they don't fit. who knows. not me. I didn't help put them on.

I was online shopping for my boy. he has grown recently, and his clothes don't fit the way I think they should, so I found a 30% Old Navy sale, and he is getting a pair of jeans, a pair of sweats, a full zip hoodie, and a pair of sweats. free ship means waiting till Nov. 6th....but I saved a shit ton of $. Koren & Katie would be proud. The Chiefs beat the Broncos. watching the snow in Denver made me cold. Zerelda loves the bag of toys Aunt Koren sent home with us.

survived our ghosts & goblets trolley tour with alcholic beverages and tours at Elms Hotel and Hall of Waters and a drink at Atlas Saloon....

did a driveby of Sauer Castle...my phone picked up a demon. I was sure of it. the nice Verizon guy said it was "user error" and fixed it. TWICE. met some interesting people... and figured out who the annoying one in the group was...walked a lot of steps. we. spent. the. night. at. The. Elms. Kevin said the toilet paper was haunted, it went crazy when he tried to use it. and there may have even been a middle of the night investigation. where I heard some unidentified sounds, videod orbs, and maybe saw a shadowy type shadow something....then a visit with the Grain Valley Grandbabies....
