finished up my Finding Bigfoot stocking today....
and started a Halloween stocking for Tracy for Christmas....also still watching that ridiculous Netflix show...some of it I have figured out. some is too even too crazy for me to figure out.
I'm just your average grandma who believes in Bigfoot and ghosts and is fascinated by serial killers....

tomorrow will finish my Bigfoot one, then make a Halloween stocking for Tracy. cut it out tonight. then I'll finish up the quilted one I made that wasn't what Katie had in mind. hell, maybe I'll start an Etsy store. tons of fabric to use up. and nothing but time, baby.
Snuggles today with grandma at her 4 month checkup!! She’s a healthy little bear weighing 14lbs, and 2 feet 1.5inches tall! She’s in the 50th percentile for her weight and 75th for her height! No more ear infection and she’s meeting all her milestones! ❤️
she was ok with my practice front...which of course was Bigfoot, found some quilted stuff and made her a front...which was too colorful. she wants more neutral. I think it's pretty. I'll just finish it. taking a supper break, then shower and dig through more fabric boxes to see if I have something more neutral. already need to go to Walmart for batting and ribbon for the hanger.
love instant messaging the grandkids on their tablet. the little dickens.

Kevin helped with last minute getting ready stuff, I hung out with the kids. Friday was The Big Day. the kids and I let Best Buy guys in with new appliances. Koren stayed at the house with the movers. Cody was at work. Kevin was at work. kids slept on mattresses on the floor that night. Saturday was Cable Guy Day. and Papa came back and helped Mommy build ALL the kids beds, and Mommy & Gramma unpacked and unpacked and unpacked. the kids starting arranging their rooms and finding their toys. there was door slamming and door locking and yelling at people to GET OUT OF MY ROOM. some fisticuffs. a few minor injuries. I do love hanging with the kids. I'm glad they have this amazing new house. Violet told stories. Millie dispensed hugs and kisses. Coralie was mischievious. Ian was his usual clever self. adorable lil' scamps. Then, Saturday night, we went home and left them to their own devices.
whittled stuff off my to-do list. Koren and Cody have keys to new house, and a buyer for current house. Millie has boot off and walking like she doesn't have a care in the world. Ian & Cora have messenger apps so they can text us now and I love it!
got to hang out with the KC littles today....Millie has her boot off and is tiptoeing around like nothing happened. Cora and Ian have messanger now and can send me and poppa messages, which is fun. Koren and Cody closed on the new house and got their keys! and their house sold!
Cliff notes that the first generation of Bigfoot Researchers are leaving us and some heirs don't realize the scientific value of their collections and they hitting the trash π️can. Hoping my collection of books, DVDs, hoodies, figures, stuffies etc at least get donated, if not made into the deb dailey memorial Bigfoot extravaganza museum...π£π£π£
Her story never got told. Her story never was finished. This was about Marliz on Unsolved Mysteries, but it applies to Amanda Shirley as well. As far as I can tell, her case was never solved. They had her body, but it really couldn't tell them much in a time with no forensics or DNA. Could she have just died? How accurate was the reporting in that rural community? If I was deathly ill I'd lock my house up so the toddler couldn't wander outside. Cold cases are hard, especially with few resources and this many years passing. Did someone really get away with murder? Did they hide a journal somewhere or make a deathbed confession, or did they just keep quiet and no one ever figured it out? Or was a local unofficially blamed by the family or community? And why didn't the Transit guys pick up all the body parts? Or their discarded bloody gloves?
picked up Rip from boarding. took girls to Dr. got to cuddle with Miss Z for a few. I have lost the fireplace remote. I was the last one to use it and now it has disappeared.
cleaned up little tree from basement that was our Christmas tree when Katie was little, then the outside porch tree. now it is the living room tree, perched up on the trunk, and decorated with white lights and vacation souveniors. need some X-mas fabric to make a skirt, and will place bigger momentos around tree, like the Las Vegas snow globe from Koren. I've been known to theme trees....The Scooby Doo Tree. The Holly Dolly Christmas Tree. Katie's Red & Gold Christmas Tree. The Cryptid Christmas Tree. and now the Vacation Momento Tree.
