KJ's little family has got the flu bug. he was able to go to work today. and had a ball game tonight. Z got sent home from school. she'll be home tomorrow, at least. and KJ has a ball game tomorrow night, too.... I met with Orkin inspector today, this mouse infestation costs almost as much as the new roof. and involves massive cleaning by 'the occupants' of course. I took Z home and started on the kitchen, got pantry, 2 counters, sinks, 1 cabinet and top of stove vaccumed, bleached, and air dried. also got the dishes done. will try to finish kitchen tomorrow, hit LR, laundry room, and that bathroom. will try to vaccum, bleach mop all floors. too much for the time span I have. Orkin guy comes back Thursday to do whatever. so I'll be there to clean that day too. with what we're paying the service should come with a couple of maids, I think. hopefully it works.....it's gonna be a long week.

not the most relaxing activity ever...and I ended up with a couple extra pieces...my Creepy Christmas Village needed this, inspired by a Stephen King short story....Mrs. Hemphill's Home for Abandoned Pussies.
of course I had to buy a dozen or so package of cats from amazon to complete it....note the bunnies. once upon a time, in her comelier days, the recently widowed Mrs. Hemphill ran a house of ill repute. the bunnies that were her signature logo remain on the house.
