my KC grandkids had this adventure, and my little Mercer granddaughter played bubbles, zombie/witch/skeleton/werewolf, play-doh, barbies, matching game, hide and seek, and watched movies with gramma deb. she almost got blown away by the wind trying to open door to get in and out of her house. a weekend with the grandbabies.

recently I've hung out solo with the kids.....I went for Jury Duty, and Koren was home with donuts before the kids even woke up. Recently I watched Millie and Violet while Mommy went to Kindergarten graduation. like 1.5-2 hours. that was all training. this was the big one. Koren left Saturday morning for Katie's bachelorette, Cody was home for a bit in the afternoon/evening. And everytime I hang with the kids, I admire Koren more. Keeping 4 little humans alive. and raising them to be decent human beings. keeping track of all their little possessions. their favorite foods. the stuff they. will. not. eat. those tablets. ugh. Ian and Coralie know all the ins and outs and saved my sorry butt multiple times.

Ian made a sock slug (like a sock monkey but a slug.) he built a space ship and went into space. he found ghost apps on my phone and we ghost hunted after everyone else was in bed. he got freaked out when the ghost detector found blips and slept on the LR floor. on a bed he made from The Nugget.

I told Violet I had to go to the BATHROOM. she opened the hall closet and said Grandma here's the VACCUM. that one's on par with Ian and The Moth Closet in Eureka Springs.

Coralie shared Mommy's special marker juice recipe with me. and all the rules for newborns. You must support their neck.

since I had no competition, I got lots of Millie hugs. and some smiles and giggles, too.

there was playdough and school and outside popcicles. blocks. piggy banks taken out of the closet. Ian made me a Bigfoot in his Minecraft game. (I think it was Minecraft?)

Cora lost her magic amalet and was walking around the house like a zombie making this weird noise, it was freaking Ian out, he finally asked her what was wrong, and he found her amalet. Today she had Violet making the sound, too. Cora also made a GIRLS ONLY sign for their room, listing the girls who can enter Mom, Coralie, Violet, Millie, Katie, Gramma Deb, and Grandma Norma. and who can't....Ian and Dad.

I'm sure I broke about a million rules...forgot to have them brush their teeth, but did remember to give them baths...and to feed them. and hug them and tell them I loved them.

Thursday night spent at Koren's, Friday watched littles so she could go to Coralie's K grad.

Sat. a.m. opened gas station. Zerelda and Daddy were in for a sec so saw them. also saw this. This. Made. My. Day. (mic drop)

came home, showered. Kevin had tin loaded in truck and I took off on a 4 hour drive that turned into like 5 or 25 hours. my phone didn't tell me there was a bridge out, and took me a different way and dumped me out right at closed bridge, so I had to find the detour. then the sky got dark and there was rain/lightning/high winds at random intervals. Spent nite at Katie's soon to be in-laws with her. This morning was a bridal shower at church. (we're not a clapping church). then leftovers from Emmi's grad party for lunch, and an ice cream sundae bridal shower at Brayden's grandmas. They had made her an apron that everyone signed. met the baby goats, and the foals, then got to tour the Wedding Venue, then headed for home. The Finish stuff came, so I tried out new dishwasher. immediately flashed a code, so book told me to turn off water supply and shut off breaker. then I got on website and it gave me more instructions that I am not smart enough to carry out, so if Kevin won't help me tomorrow after work, will get hold of The Guys to trouble shoot it.

I have also been on the phone, which is something I dearly dearly hate to do. Made appt. for CT scan Tuesday morning. Made Rip's nueter appt. and booked his spot in the kennel for The Wedding. then got online and requested a groom appt. for Trenton, which will be after we get back from vacay but that's just the way it is. Shoulda booked one when we first got him. Everyone is booked solid. Thought about Dina, but I know losing Rusty is hard for me and hard for her and Rip might not do so well there. He is very skittish and she has a busy place. Maybe my next career should be a Pet Groomer. I always said I'd be a Dog Bather (I've given up on my former dream jobs of Casey's and Dispatcher....)at Dina's so Rusty could play with the other dogs. But Rip seems to have my social inclinations, not Kevin's.

The Guys came and approved the miracle sealer Bryan applied yesterday, so squared up with them. They'll be back someday for other projects. put the china tea sets in Grandkids Room drawer. Put other Bigfoot metal in there on wall. framed and hung Izzy ultrasound pic on the Grandkid door. and did a half lap at park. Relda's new lanterns arrived. Hope she likes them. They're pretty close to the one The Bad Guys stole from her. (the bad guys being Grandma and Daddy. cause Grandma never says no. ) and I loaded up donations in car, Koren's cake holder, cleaned car windows, and have my bag packed. have to pick up Rxs on way out of town. Will wait till Kevin arrives so I can see him for a sec. Will he have early outs today? he hasn't said yet. He did yesterday.

work was busy enough I didn't have time to discuss this with Cheryl. I even had to stay a few minutes late to finish cleaning. not entirely sure I stocked the stand up freezer....but I had to totally restock the pizza table when I started, so fairs fair I guess.

Bryan used the miracle product Kevin found on tile. Dr. appt. My cholesterol and BP #s are good. not perfect, but better. discussed my fingers/wrists and the hard knot in my stomach. I'll have a CAT scan, have to call tomorrow for apt. I'm not gonna worry about it. I'd hate for Katie to be right about needing a shower upstairs, but guess I can walk outside and around the yard to get downstairs in the event of another surgery.

today Bryan worked on backsplash....I took Zerelda to her moms, got lost in the Walmart Time Warp, grabbed a yellow cake shake at Sonic, then turned in change at bank and put in my last 2 paychecks.

home for a bit working on my Bigfoot movie when Kevin checked the answering machine and there was a damn message about an Rx to pick up in Princeton. so did that. Then Ann asked if I could take her to store for some groceries, so did that. then made supper. paid some bills online. back to the bigfoot movie now...

our guys are caulking the backsplash. Zerelda helped me shop at Coon's Greenhouse. Then we planted. She has a vegetable garden with peppers and tomatoes. Kevin worked all day and came home and worked on the yard more. got to 90 or higher. turned on a/c. Rip got his first bath here last night in his brand spanking new tub.

I put up a few more pics. Refilled Liquor Cabinet. brought up a binder from basement to make into a passwords book and put in bottom right drawer. have it labeled. getting some shit done, son. found some old coins and a bunch to turn into bank.

Katie was home this weekend for graduation and a grad reception AND a bridal shower....and she came to the reception I was invited to, as well.

2 Senior Students gave each other flowers. It was incredibly sweet and just renewed your faith in mankind. There were only 8 seniors this year. Is this the record small class? dunno. I guess if I attended sporting events anymore I would've realized how small the class was when they did Senior Night....but I lost interest when my kids were out of school. Just don't give a shit.
