today added more elements to the #cryptidcreaturefeaturequilt
a little monkey with cymbals inspired by one of todays Amityville movies..... him and The Dover Demon are besties. and adding Christmas ornaments to the pine trees...inspired by the nightmares I still occasionally have from Joe Hill's Nos4A2 and Christmasland....souls of children are stored in these. I damn near cancelled Christmas 2013. and. I. read. the. book. in. June. it is always in the back of my mind. oh....and another addition I forgot to photograph. hint...watching all these Amityville movies...maybe tomorrow. it's just pinned in place on the very last block right now.
whelp, just realized that Ms. Wuornos has a doppleganger right here in Mercer...
Aileen Wuornos Mind Of A Monster.....discovery+ do you deserve to be murdered for picking up a prostitute? and then this makes you famous if your relative was one of the slain. or infamous. and I have just come to the realization that as a part time gas station clerk, I may at some point be shown a composite pic to look for a serial killer. it could happen. in lieu of a truck stop, the gas station would be the next place to start your search. "latent print supervisor." what a career. girlfriend, they didn't have anything on you. if you wouldn't of confessed you might've stayed free until DNA evidence came into play years later. you never should've trusted Ty. "Honestly I could convict a ham sandwich if I had a confession." this poor girl had a horrible childhood. it doesn't excuse her actions. but she could've used some Child Services intervention.
Amityville Toybox
40 years after the original Amityville murders, a cursed antique toy finds its way to a brand new family-who become the latest victims of possession in the undying legacy of evil.
Directors Dustin Ferguson

"Is this how you raised your kids?" so, gramps gets his son to kill his family....mom, kids, their significant others. ended weird. it would have been 5 Bigfoot Stomps for gist of movie, but only 2 Bigfoot Stomps for ending. in a strange twist, the characters had the same first names as the actual actors.
"You don't suppose a rat has a soul, do you, Father?"

Genres Horror, Suspense artists living in cool old lofts....very 90s. short skirts. short hair. big earrings. I like the idea of a haunted mirror and a haunted repressed past....and him finding himself in the physc ward.....5 Bigfoot Stomps.
I was murdered.
the ex husband was briefly a suspect because he seemed happy to hear his ex wife was dead. I mean, really? you got a divorce. you probably won't cry when you hear they're dead. although now you can't collect the life insurance...bummer. the neighbor refused request to search or to come down to the station. I'd refuse too. I've seen the sent to prison when you're innocent shows. when you're dead, they can just take your DNA and fingerprints. so they could prove you guilty of murder when you're dead. and then why would it matter? it'd just embarrass your family. or am I looking at it all wrong? even if you have viable DNA, the perp might not be in the system to get a hit. finally got one, he was already in jail. the voice over annoyed me more and more as it went on. it was 20 minutes. think I'll just skip the rest of the season.
just made one of my Facebook photo albums "only me" because an 'in-law' commented about a pic of a deceased in-law that I had tagged from a long ago picture
and said it was unauthorized to post on deceased peoples accounts. think I had already unfollowed this person because it showed up on Kevin's, not mine. you think I'd learn. FB just gets me in trouble. and unless someone knows her password and deletes account or makes it private or unfriends everyone or whatever...it's there. that's one of those technology things. who thinks to log themselves off FB and protect their account before they die? today is 1/29/2021. comment made today on a post from 8/20/2020. and it's the only comment. sigh.....looks like someone else is getting deleted from the family history... "MARIE PASSED 02-18-2018, WHY IS STUFF BEING ADDED TO HER ACCOUNT???? SEEMS WEIRD AND IS DEFINITELY UNAUTHORIZED!!!!!"
well, after watching Amityville Dollhouse last night, I just knew I had to add some voodoo dolls to the #cryptidcreaturefeaturequilt
and then I was thinking.....you know what else we need here? some Blair Witch stick figures hanging from trees....so, here we go....constant revisions. I. am. in. my. happy. place.

Genres Horror, Suspense ok, folks, we all know I love me a good haunted doll house. bonus....an Amityville Horror replica. twisted. I give it 5 Bigfoot Stomps 'cause little Jessica is a doppleganger for Miss Coralie. and if anyone could deal with a haunted dollhouse in her bedroom, it'd be our Cora.

At 701 Marshall Street (M-89) in Allegan stands an old hospital that was built in 1909 by a doctor named John Robinson. During the 1920's, Doc Robinson sold the place to a physician from Chicago: one that seemingly had ties to the mob. Supposedly, Al Capone came here often. Whenever Capone or some other gang members needed to hide out or get secret medical service, they visited the John Robinson Hospital in Allegan. Read More: Al Capone and Ghosts of the 1909 John Robinson Hospital, Allegan
According to Mlive.com, one of the gang members evidently had the nickname "Tall Louie," and is one of the seven ghosts that inhabit the old hospital. Louie passed away somewhere else but now resides in the old hospital, due to the fond memories he has of the place.
Other ghosts include a little boy and little girl who may have died in the hospital from tuberculosis (the hospital was known for psychiatry and treating TB).
After the hospital shut down in 1948 and was turned into an Elks Lodge in 1961, a caretaker went out to the back porch and - for some unknown reason - hung himself.
Employees and visitors have experienced all sorts of paranormal activity. According to ghostresearch.org, people have witnessed "cabinets opening up by themselves in the kitchen, sounds of children laughing, photographic anomalies captured throughout the building, shadow figures in the basement where the morgue was located, indiscernible conversations, knocking on the front door and ringing of the doorbell when no one was present, footsteps, sound of hospital activity long after being used as one, full bodied apparitions of children. (One woman) was even slapped in the face, and had her ear pinched and glasses displaced on one occasion."
This is one of Michigan Historic Sites, NOT some old place that you can sneak into. GET PERMISSION BEFORE ENTERING.
The old hospital still stands on six acres in Allegan’s historical district across from the Kalamazoo River.

Indiana cryptids
---------Pukwudgie The term "pukwudgie", a word which roughly translates to "small, wild man of the woods who vanishes" in native Wampanoag culture, is a strange, troll-like little "man" said to be between two and three feet tall with pallid skin and blonde hair. The writings detailing sightings of these "trolls" go from the Native American days until fairly recently. They are most commonly sighted by frightened onlookers on the banks of the White River around Mounds State Park.
Onlookers should not fear, though; ancient writings by Wampanoag people described the demeanor of the pukwudgie to be a friendly trickster. No doubt that it would be a little spooky to see unexpectedly run across your path!--------- The Crosley Monster It's a little bit strange that there are reports of Bigfoot-like creatures across many different cultures and locations from varied points throughout history. Indiana is no stranger to its own bizarre ape-like creature. The Crosley Monster is a nightmare most commonly sighted in - you guessed it - Crosley, Indiana. Reports of a gigantic bipedal beast began in the area in 2006, when it chased a group of terrified campers for a brief distance before disappearing into the night.
Intriguingly, sightings of a large, hairy, humanoid creature walking on two legs were also documented in 1839, 1860, and again in 1937 and 1976. The creature is said to stand about eight feet tall with long, matted hair covering its body, and sharp, yellow teeth. It is unknown what the animal could be, but it's terrified the town of Crosley more than once over the centuries. ---------MeshekenabekDid you know that Indiana has its very own "Loch Ness Monster"? It's (allegedly) true! Sightings of a strange "monster" lurking in the depths of Lake Manitou go as far back as Native American days across the lands near Rochester. They had a tradition that roughly translated to "respecting the beast in the Devil's Lake." n 1838, an article was published in the Logansport Telegraph which described a "monster" in Lake Manitou measuring up at about 60 feet long.
It has a long, muscular body with what looks like a cow's head (only much, much larger). The word "Manitou" translates in Potawatomi as both "good spirit" and "evil spirit," so it's understandable as to why folks might have been a bit leery of it. Sightings and rumors have persisted over the decades and, to this day, some people still swear they saw the bizarre, yellow-splotched monster lurking in the depths.
this sounds like something I would do...buy an ugly old lamp at a garage sale and send it to my sister as a gag....
note to self: don't go to garage sales. don't buy demonic lamp. let's see: lamp gives buyer tetanus. her sister burnt by teapot. grandson can't stop possessed chainsaw. bird in microwave. handsome young electrician's son hand mangled in garbage disposal. phone burns priest. plumber drowns in muck. youngest daughter talks to dead father. housekeeper strangled by lamp. oldest daughter bludgoned by window. youngest daughter stabs priest. grandma threw the lamp out the window, over the cliff, and to the beach. we're talking an Olympic quality throw. and that damn Pepper The Cat. he got possessed....wonder how long it'll be before they smell the dead plumber in the basement crawl space??? 5 Bigfoot Stomps.
The demonic forces that were lurking in the infamous house in Amityville for over 300 years escape to a remote California mansion by inhabiting a lamp. This evil latches onto a little girl living in the home by taking on the form of her dead father. It's up to a young priest to perform an exorcism and attempt to lift the curse from the desperate family.

I requested a King Size Snickers with Almonds to eat at work, and fried chicken I'd just made for supper. I came home and had the most delicious cold fried chicken. he's a peach. drifting off to sleep I realized Donald Ronald needs a red balloon, and SeaRabbit and 3-eyed Simpson fish need a mermaid friend....so will sketch it up. have to journey out into the world for a filing today at dentist, then will hibernate like the big old grumpy Grizzly Bear that I am. have decided that the SeaRabbit needs a 3-eyed fish from The Simpsons to swim with, and the chalk outline needs 3 little yellow crime scene markers to point out an axe, a footprint, and something else I haven't come up with yet, and that I needed 3 more blocks to make it 8 rows of 6 to even out shape....so adding Kelly Little Green Men, Momo The Missouri Monster, and a Thunderbird. have my sketches done. have almost all blocks put together. next project will most likely be Peppa Pigfoot....

Amityville II: The Possession
5 Bigfoot Stomps. weird nausea inducing camera angles, incest, large dysfunctional family moving into huge house, murder, and a priest who took the demon from Sonny, who had still killed his family and was going to prison and possibly death row, which would probably be much more fun while possessed....I'd think so, anyway....
More of a prequel than a sequel to 1979's "The Amityville Horror," this film relates the story of the Long Island house's early years as a haven for demonic forces intent on driving a father to beat the kids, a mother to prayer and a brother to lust after his sister before he murders them all!

Killing Richard Glossip
innocent man on death row? that is scary a.f. he's had 3 last meals. Oklahoma, an eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth state. 19 years in prison. convicted of murder for hire of his boss. (the 19 year old maintenance man did it.) in a "run down hotel in Oklahoma City." (hmmmm. is it a Route 66 motel? cause that guy at the casino told me there were lots of murders in Route 66 motels....just sayin. just sayin.) scant evidence. circumstantial evidence. "It just doesn't make any sense." Life usually doesn't make any sense, guys. Life is messy. and if you're innocent, how do you end up on death row? 'cause life just doesn't make any sense. the guy was beat to death with a baseball bat. ugh. not the way I'd want to be murdered. "Justin was really an odd guy." Best Budget Inn. Super 40 Inn. Super Budget. Oklahoma City, OK. Room 102. 1997. interrogation
techiniques. Kevin watches a lot of cop shows. I think they bully people trying to get to the truth. some people will freak and confess to get you to stop. it's human. get a lawyer. clam up. you can go to jail or be executed if you are innocent. it happens. I watch the documentaries. the killer bled all over the money from the car. they had pictures of it. ick. your word vs. his. Richard has always said he was innocent. "nervous...inconsistent statements...." hey, buddy, he just found out his boss was killed in the hotel he managed for him. not his best day, I suspect. what are we learning here? do. not. talk. to. the. police. get. an. attorney. ok. we have 2 very different stories here. someone is lying. do. not. trust. the. police. how would you remember what happened at a motel you stayed at in 1997? seriously? one of the original cops defends the case. he sleeps well at night. SaveRichardGlossip.com being honest doesn't mean you won't get convicted. we see his first trial lawyer apologizing. he had never tried a murder case, never tried one again. he tried to committ suicide after this. his wife and family left him. I'm guessing he was the 'if you cannot afford a lawyer one will be appointed to you'. which is another reason why this happens. poverty=screwed. police destroyed a box of evidence. the forensic person lost her job after FBI investigation. and the DA (I think the DA?) interview with a juror from 2nd trial. I was a juror once. it's hard. you only know what you're told and shown. that's all you have to go on. I think the whole gist here is don't get arrested in Oklahoma. hell, maybe not even DRIVE through Oklahoma....this poor guy. he's in his boxers waiting to be taken to the lethal injection room....and gets a stay because someone had set up the wrong medication. if that didn't break your last little straw, what would? there was a botched execution previously. his family was outside the prison and set balloons free when they got the news of the stay of execution. but he's still gonna die. this is just prolonging the inevitable. "You know me, I never give up hope." RICHARD GLOSSIP
WIKIPEDIA: Richard Eugene Glossip (born February 9, 1963) is an American prisoner currently on death row at Oklahoma State Penitentiary after being convicted of commissioning the 1997 murder of Barry Van Treese. Justin Sneed, the man who murdered Van Treese, agreed to plead guilty in exchange for testifying against Glossip, and received a sentence of life without parole. Glossip is the recipient of international attention due to the unusual nature of his conviction, for which there is little or no additional corroborating evidence.
Glossip is notable for his role as named plaintiff in the 2015 Supreme Court case Glossip v. Gross, which ruled that executions carried out by a three-drug protocol of midazolam, pancuronium bromide, and potassium chloride did not constitute cruel and unusual punishment under the Eighth Amendment to the United States Constitution.
In September and October 2015,Glossip was granted three successive stays of execution due to questions about Oklahoma's lethal injection drugs after Oklahoma Corrections Department officials used potassium acetate to execute Charles Frederick Warner on January 15, 2015, contrary to protocol. Oklahoma Attorney General Scott Pruitt ordered a multicounty grand jury investigation of the execution drug mix-up. On January 7, 1997, Justin Sneed beat Barry Van Treese to death gruesomely with a baseball bat. The killing occurred at the Best Budget Inn in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, where Van Tresse was the owner, Sneed was the maintenance man, and Richard Glossip was the manager. In exchange for avoiding the death penalty, Sneed confessed and told police that Glossip had instructed him to commit the murder.
Glossip insisted on his actual innocence and refused to accept a plea bargain. In July 1998, an Oklahoma jury convicted Glossip of the murder and sentenced him to death. In 2001, the unanimous Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals threw out that conviction, calling the case "extremely weak" and finding Glossip had received unconstitutionally ineffective assistance of counsel.
In August 2004, a second Oklahoma jury convicted Glossip of the murder and sentenced him to death. Glossip complained that prosecutors had intimidated his defense attorney into resigning, but, in April 2007, the Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals affirmed the death sentence, with two judges in the majority, one judge specially concurring, and two judges dissenting. Glossip attracted the advocacy of Sister Helen Prejean, but failed to get the clemency board to consider letters from Sneed’s family, who believe Sneed is lying. Glossip's legal team asserts that Justin Sneed was addicted to methamphetamine at the time that he murdered Van Treese, and that he habitually broke into vehicles in the parking lot of the Best Budget Inn while he was employed as a maintenance man.[16] Glossip's execution is controversial in that he was convicted almost entirely on the testimony of Sneed, who confessed to bludgeoning Van Treese to death with an aluminum baseball bat by himself and who was spared a death sentence himself by implicating Glossip.
In 2015, Oklahoma City police released a 1999 police report showing that a box of evidence had been marked for destruction. The report was never provided to attorneys who represented Richard Glossip in his second trial or his appeals according to his new defense team. In an interview published the same day Glossip's attorney Donald Knight criticised the previous attorneys, saying "They did a terrible job. Horrible. No preparation. No investigation."
On September 22, 2015, Glossip's attorneys filed papers referring to a July 1997 psychiatric evaluation of Sneed, in which he said he understood he was charged with murder in connection with a burglary and made no reference to Glossip's involvement.
On September 23, 2015, Glossip's attorneys filed papers complaining that two new witnesses were being intimidated. In affidavits, one witness had claimed that Sneed laughed about lying in court about Glossip's involvement; another said he was convinced based on his conversations with Sneed that Sneed acted alone. On September 24, 2015 the Oklahoma attorney general's office filed papers stating that the claims of the new witnesses were "inherently suspect", and that the time it took Van Treese to die and whether blood loss contributed to his death did not affect the trial outcome, in response to a defense claim that the testimony of Dr. Chai Choi, who performed the autopsy, was incorrect.
On September 28, 2015, the Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals voted 3-2 to proceed with execution. Presiding Judge Clancy Smith wrote "While finality of judgment is important, the state has no interest in executing an actually innocent man. An evidentiary hearing will give Glossip the chance to prove his allegations that Sneed has recanted, or demonstrate to the court that he cannot provide evidence that would exonerate him." Judge Arlene Johnson wrote that the original trial was "deeply flawed" and an evidentiary hearing should be ordered.
On September 30, 2015, Glossip spoke to the UK's Sky News on the telephone from his cell as he was being served his last meal. Glossip said that Sneed testified at trial that Glossip did not wear or own gloves, "And now he's on TV saying that I did. It continues to show the discrepancies in anything that Justin Sneed has to say." On the same day, Virgin CEO Richard Branson bought an advertisement in The Oklahoman newspaper which had campaigned against the execution, with Branson stating the evidence against Glossip is flawed and that "every person is deserving of a fair trial", adding, "Your state is about to execute a man whose guilt has not been proven beyond a reasonable doubt."[28] The United States Supreme Court denied a stay of execution. Justice Stephen Breyer wrote that he would grant a stay.
High-profile supporters
Richard Glossip has several high-profile supporters of his innocence, including Mark Ruffalo, Peter Sarsgaard, Sir Richard Branson, Susan Sarandon, Sister Helen Prejean, and Pope Francis.

Directors Robin Pront

Genres Suspense this was listed under Bigfoot movies on amazon prime...and it kinda looked like Bigfoot until he started shooting arrows at girls he was hunting on the wildlife sanctuary... Ghillie suits make awesome Bigfoot costumes......our bad ass hero pulls an arrow out of his chest, stitches himself up, then after his dog barks at the surveilance cameras, goes out to save the girl he sees running through the woods. his truck never starting is not helpful in this situation. and his drinking problem may or may not be an asset. his daughter had been missing 5 years...did this man hunt her too? this is twisted. it's the Sheriff's little brother. it's not the Sheriff's little brother? but our Sheriff is clever. yeah, she did shoot Rayburn to protect her brother, who she thought was the killer. but she noticed all the girls have a scar on their throat. and why couldn't Molly talk to Rayburn? I can't figure these out as quickly as I do Hallmark Christmas movies....I was just starting to think it was the Dr....and then he finds Rayburn (yeah, shot with an arrow AND a bullet, still sleuthing around, tracking trucks, breaking and entering...) and that's not good. not. good. at. all. we find that the Dr.s daughter Melissa was hit by a drunk driver and left alone in the woods to die. teenage girls are being hunted in the woods. and the arrows are marked MB. Melissa. Boone. dum dum dum. I really thought it was brother Boone. it all circled back to the cruel animal traps. frontier justice is done. omg. did Stephen King write this????? hell of a movie. I give it 5 Bigfoot stomps. (hey, I just made up my own rating system. go me.)
took a nap after work Saturday afternoon, then slept 12 hours that night.
Zerelda and crew came over to watch the playoff game and the Chiefs are headed back to the Superbowl. worked on quilt. watched a Bigfoot movie. and here it is, 12:37 a.m. Monday, and I've given up on sleep. googling some more stuff for quilt, decided I needed a chalk body outline, which meant 4 more additional blocks, plus trees...so am going to try adding a Hodag, Unicorn, Shuck (huge black dog from British Isles), and a Yowie. this madness may never, ever end. but when it does, there will be some other crazy project. such is life.
Shuck
The folklore of the British Isles is littered with tales of mysterious black dogs that supposedly haunt rural towns and villages across the country. The Shuck—a huge black hound said to dwell in East Anglia, on the far eastern coast of England—is probably one of the most famous, having apparently attacked a church in the village of Bungay, Suffolk, during a thunderstorm in 1577. According to local records, while the villagers were sheltering from the storm in the church, a huge black dog burst through the church door, killing a man and his son, and pulling down one of the pillars supporting the church steeple, which collapsed into the nave. As it fled the church, the Shuck apparently left scorch marks in the wood of the church door that can still be seen to this day.

Shock Docs Amityville Horror House
112 Ocean Avenue, Amityville, NY
On November 21, 1975, DeFeo was found guilty on six counts of second-degree murder. On December 4, 1975, Judge Thomas Stark sentenced DeFeo to six sentences of 25 years to life.[9]
As of November 2020, DeFeo is held at the Sullivan Correctional Facility in the town of Fallsburg, New York, and all of his appeals and requests to the parole board to date have been denied. moving into a house where a family was violently murdered, and all their furniture is still there....risky. Spirits could be attached. they could also be attached the the building itself. all that energy. waiting for someone to move in....and here comes the Lutz family. they had the house blessed. religious provocation can push out negative energy...or piss. it. the. fuck. off. the flys. where are the red pig eyes? I remember red pig eyes. (Jodie the Pig). 28 days. demonic hauntings are limitless. personality changes. Christmas 1975. a huge doll. an Easy Bake Oven. A mysterious hidden basement room. (doesn't every house need one?) keep the stench, though. sleep deprived. strange happenings. a Baby Alive box in Missy's room. "This house is the most evil house in America." do not eat or drink anything in the house.
George Lutz was, perhaps, the most eager to move into the home at 112 Ocean Avenue. See, he was a filmmaker. As noted, the Lutz family were informed of the events which occurred at the home just a year prior to their arrival. That information was ignored, and the family moved in.
Family members say that George Lutz was the first of the Lutz family to initiate talk of hauntings. He, at the advice of a friend, hired a priest named Father Ralph J. Pecoraro (Mancuso in the book) to bless the house. And it was after that blessing that the “haunting” began.
George Lutz is now deceased. He died on May 8, 2006 of heart disease. While he was born on Long Island where the haunting hoax occurred, his place of death was Las Vegas, Nevada.
George and Kathleen Lutz divorced in 1988.
Kathleen Lutz is also deceased. She passed away just before her husband on August 17, 2004. She was confined to a wheelchair for the last few months of her life.
Daniel Lutz was 9 at the time of the Amityville haunting, and he didn’t tell too many stories at the time. However, he’s quite vocal about the events now, and it would seem he’s sticking to his story.
Daniel Lutz in 2013 released a documentary. He called it My Amityville Horror, and he’s the only of the Lutz family to star in the film. Of course, his parents are deceased. But his siblings declined the “opportunity.”
Interviewers described Daniel Lutz as an “angry man” who chain smokes and sulks about the past. Apparently, this is normal in children who have parents like George and Kathy Lutz.
Daniel Lutz is still alive and continues to perpetuate the Amityville story in the absence of his parents.
Daniel Lutz is alone in maintaining that the Amityville horror was true. In fact, even the stepsiblings clain it was a hoax.
Three of the five children in the Lutz family were Kathy’s kids from a previous marriage. One of those “kids” was Christopher Quaratino. Quaratino was 7 at the time of the “haunting” and he’s had a few choice words for his stepfather. Christopher Quaratino said:
So far there’s been three representations of what happened in that house, and not one of them is accurate.
It went so far that George Lutz actually sued Quaratino in court for trademark infringement and fraud. Lutz had been planning another Amityville movie.
Missy Lutz, who was 5 at the time, says that yes, the experience was traumatic. But she’s referring to the Lutz family feud that followed the fabricated events, not the haunting itself.
You can expect more pop culture references to the Amityville haunting, as almost every one of the Lutz children is planning to film a movie or write a book.
The Darkest Winter: Children of the Snow
Oakland County Child Killer it all started in Ferndale, Michigan in 1976. Mark. never made it home from the American Legion. second victim Jill was born December 2 1964 and was 12 when she disappeared and was found on the side of a road with a gunshot to the head. Mom told her to go out in the front yard and think about things. Kristine. begged for permission to go to 7-11 and buy a teen magazine. Tim borrowed 30 cents from his sister and walked to pharmacy to buy a candy bar. A blue Gremlin and a man with dark hair and sideburns. North Fox Island. pornography mill. stay away from strangers. Bad Eyed Bob. pedophiles. polygraphs weren't admissable in court, but police used them to eliminate potential suspects. it's common for the subject to confess to the polygrapher during the pre-polygraph. pre-polygraph exams are protected under client/lawyer privilege. the son of a prominent executive in the area. committed suicide 1978. suspicious. most suicides by rifle place it under their chin or in their mouth, not on their forehead. DNA tests on evidence 30 years later: tapings. fiber samples. seems to me like all their suspected persons are in jail for something else or dead. Of course, it's been a long time since 1977-78. who could remember exactly where they were on what day at what time? who could pass that polygraph? the murders did stop. that was something. it didn't help the families of the victims, but it did stop. so I would think either the person was dead or went elsewhere (jail or moved away.) contradictory information, years of silence, families looking for answers. ongoing investigation. you can't always wrap life up in a neat little bow. life is messy. and complicated. and sometimes brutally sad. rumors: John Wayne Gacy. The Unabomber. team killing. dirty cop? no ones talking. and these guys are in jail and have done things. but is it right to put them in this documentary and muddy their name even more? they have families too. so. many. feelings. what is right? what is wrong? and the families of the victims. your heart goes out to them. like one mother said, "What is closure? How do you close this?" no one arrested. and all suspects named in documentary considered innocent until proven guilty.

browsed toy aisle at Walmart looking for a big girl birthday gift for Princess Coralie....
found a sticker book. got on amazon.com and found a bridesmaid (princess) dress, a real tiara, and a real pendant. for our pretty pretty princess. was supposed to hang out with Zerelda tonight after work, but that got cancelled last minute, so went on to Bethany, ate at Toot Toots and did a Walmart run. and looked at Roaring 20a get ups on amazon...there are awesome accessories... I think we'll get Kevin a vest and hat and suspenders and buy him a new dress shirt to wear them with.maybe some nice black pin strip trousers. he already had a cigar, or I can buy him a new one. my mother of the bride dress will be appropriate for a Roarin' 20s matron, I think, with some long white beads and maybe some long gloves or a headband...

Death in the Bayou: The Jennings 8
8 dead girls in Jennings, LA. 2005-2009. mothers. drug users. living on the wrong side of the tracks. dumped like trash. decomposing. walking around the streets on the south side in the dark in packs drinking fountain drinks. bad teeth. the accents. Pall Mall Red 100s. Dr. Pepper. Grandma kept a purse full of medications under her pillow. pitching horseshoes. tall grass. she walked to the black part of town, where she lived in an abandoned house with her old man....tiny houses. trailer parks. needing a place to stay. campers. lots of facial scars. the scenery. people walking around in the background while they're filming. 0.432% alcohol level is fatal. (hey, I'm not judging. I'm observing. as I do. in an annoying petty way. it's who I am.) citizens don't trust the police. they don't trust anybody. someone wrote a check to funeral parlor to help with expenses...and check bounced. and he was the one who found Whitnei. finger pointing. conspiracy theories. suspicious of everybody, everything. families doing their own investigations. hiring a private detective. can you name people you think are killers out loud? isn't that slander? or libel? $85,000 reward. task force. anger. speculation. still an active investigation today.....no one has been charged. of course I find a doppleganger in this documentary. it's a gift, I guess...and I just hope that in the event I ever go missing and end up in a string of unsolved murders...that an attractive snapchat photo will be used in the documentary...not a real life one. Sasquatch, no. and my current part time job is burning off my fingerprints one finger at a time, so dental records will be needed. Call Dr. Cox.
a day off and I put it to good use.....
today these blocks came to life: a mishmash of Ronald McDonald and Pogo The Clown that I christened Donald Ronald...looks like Grimace donated to Locks of Love and this clown got a cool new wig!
this is Pig Man. a man with a pig head. a cruel science experiment? an escapee from the insane asylum? you ask him.
and today during a cryptid creature google search, I 'discovered' The Sea Rabbit...head of rabbit, torso of alligator, fish tail (seal tail, maybe?) PLUS I'm working on Slenderman, and the very last block, The Banshee is in the works. got a lot more blocks sewn together today. and a lot more to go. I'm having fun with it. my problem is always that 'creating' is more fun than the grunt work. I like to think I am a very clever girl.

"Now let's go get this son-of-a-bitch."
damn email has updated and I don't understand it. I am tired and teary-eyed and whiny, so I'm gonna hang out with my buddies Buck, Jeff, Huck, Willy and Wild Bill...they're out to prove there's wolves in West Virginia....and I'm along for the ride. poor Wild Bill walked into an electric fence in the dark. ouch. Buck stumbled onto a ripped apart hog. there's something else out here in West Virginia...that ain't no damn wolf kill. they read Trappers journal and came up with Burying The Bone. Rotted Mare's Afterbirth is The Secret Sauce...gonna get a clear footprint. Buck has to go to work, then drive 120 miles back to monster hunt at night. that's dedication. AND his truck is in the shop and he's got a rental. as in car. the other boys found a tombstone in the woods. Buck thought he hit a dog. but there was no damage to car, no animal lying in road. he decides he's tired and the camera man should drive. burying the bone worked...wolf prints...and something waaaaay bigger than a wolf....and now I'm all caught up...
#meanwhileinmybasementlair
big things were happening this morning, gonna blog about 'em before I go to work. The. Dover. Demon. 'nuff said. The Flatwoods Monster got a more colorful head AND arms! The Bray Road Beast got a 3Dish head and my, my, he is a handsome fella. The Grim Reaper is here to walk you to your final destination. hidden in the woods is an old house....and another Black Eyed Child.
