because once again we've been reminded how short life can be, have started trying to write down stuff the kids need to know.

and place in the white binder named PASSWORDS in lower right desk drawer. (also put what keys we know what they are in here. and some other notes.) I have my stuff painstakingly (or pain-in-the-ass-ingly) recorded. Time to start on Mr. I'm Never Gonna Die.
if he would happen to somehow accidently die, at a very very very advanced age, he wants to be buried in Wilder Cemetery. (cemetery on corner of the farm.) at this time, Kevin Stiles who has the cows on the farm is on the cemetery board. You'd have to contact a member for a plot. Supposedly Lije has some plots there. Kevin would probably like to be buried by his dad. NO services. NO viewing. NO preacher/pastor. He might want a tombstone with a deer on it. He shrugged at this question. He very seriously intends to NOT die. hard to get an answer out of him. I'm assuming he'd want to be buried in his good jeans, a t-shirt and hoodie, and cowboy boots. He is not keen on cremation. no comment on embalming. would depend on how quickly he could be buried, I guess. If I'm still here, I'd stick a bottle of his liquor in with him. send him off right.
very small, very private graveside service. I'd just have you kids and your kids. David if he's still here. If Kirk or Kevin wanted to come (guys who rent farm) they're family. he'd be ok with that.
another thing. KJ, as long as you're around, if you could try to go to the yearly Lineville Fire Department Chicken Noodle supper, usually March. Lije always went and donated what he could. Your dad has went and donated $100 in memory of Lije the last couple of years. You don't even have to eat, just give money at the table. Dad would like that.
