This is a documented photo of Clyde Barrow and Bonnie Parker in the morgue during the embalming process. Sheet covering Bonnie is soaked with embalming fluid leaking from the many bullet holes fired into her body. While in the morgue there was security there to stop others from removing parts of their body, like fingers, toes, eyes and teeth for a keepsake. Clyde Barrow and Bonnie Parker were part of the notorious the pair better known as Bonnie and Clyde. They were known bank robbers during The Great Depression. It was also believed that they were responsible for at least 13 murders. On On May 23, 1934, they were killed in an ambush by a posse of Louisiana and Texas officers. More than a 100 bullets were fired into them.

why am I obsessed with these two? it was hard times. they were hard people. they hurt and killed people. ultimately, they hurt themselves. and got themselves killed. they were poor. they found each other. they lived on the run and ate hamburgers for breakfast. and they went down together. kind of a depression era Romeo & Juliet.
