boy howdy.

tonite instead of laps at the park we went laps with Buckwheat The Great White Pryanese moving him from his muddy pen to a dry area and putting him on a chain. he wasn't happy. Kevin needed a "lasso" and I needed a "sort board." I found a small panel gate I could maneuver. he slipped off the collar pretty quickly, so I turned off burners for supper and we went out again. we'll see. I'd like to think he wouldn't bother anybody as skittish as he is, but the neighbor does have free range chickens and that would be mighty tempting. his mama Boo-duh enjoyed some chicken in her diet, she'd leave some of her feed on the ground and the damn things would walk right up to her and sacrifice themselves. if he gets out again he may be going back to the muddy pen. Kevin gets tired of me and these damn dogs. I get tired of me and these damn dogs.

I did make Kevin a butter pecan cake before I asked for "help" (as in you have to do everything) moving the dog.

Kevin took a shower. dog escaped again. he is re-secured. and Kevin is re-showering. not looking good, folks.
