working on our anniversary vacation...

already know I work that weekend and we have back to back concerts in Des Moines...will have to come home Sat. and go to work Sunday, then plan to spend the night in Des Moines and head to Clear Lake to find the Surf Ballroom and Buddy Holly Crash Site, then on to Northfield Minnesota perhaps...although the bank the James Gang robbed will only be open for tours on Saturdays after Labor Day (sad face.) there is an amazing looking hotel there....The Archer House River Inn. said to have the best food in town.
