today I was the first one there for 5 a.m. wean pig truck...which means arriving at 4 a.m.ish and walking risers with a flashlight...

I'm a bit long in the tooth for this kind of activity....but since I missed the last one, I was there with bells on. came home and took a long ass nap. Kevin went to Bethany today and paid the sales tax and got the kids new vehicle licensed. and we have a bit left from the insurance settlement to put in savings. I have tomorrow off as a flex day (unpaid) for working the weekend. but consented to working an extra weekend....forgetting that I have a ghost hunt Friday night. oh, well. just catch a few zzzzzzzssss and then go breed and come home and go back to bed, I guess. $$$$$ whatevs. we're getting new gutters on all. the. she bought The Myrtles. bags of salt at the windows and upside down keyholes to keep the spirits out. on Ghosts of Shepardtown the old houses had shoes in the walls for the same purpose. I love learning new ghostly things. spirits have always been around, of course, and people have always had to deal with them. I pay to go look for ghosts, but it would be different to live with them daily.
