this was on the bucket list as long as I can remember. only a 14. hour. drive. well worth every single mile. the tour guides dressed as nurses? fuckin' A. our tour guide who grew up there since his mom works there? I left a doll on a shelf. we debunked fingerprints on my trunk. and saw a groundhog crawling in and out of a broken basement window. did 2 tours. daytime paranormal AND Criminally Insane. heard stories. Tracy rolled the ball, it hit the wall and would randomly move thereafter. heard knocks. voices. broad daylight, my homies. I got teary eyed in lobotomy area. and in the women's hallway. your husband (or basically anyone) could lock you away if they got bored with you or you pissed them off or any reason they could come up with. and there you were. till you died. so sad. so here's a few random pics. I probably took 3 million or so....Sasquatch. to live close enough to work there....that is the dream. anything seems possible under that spooky forboding gothic black-and-white movie West Virginia sky....
