mom called, they had a wonderful anniversary stay at the Inn of the Six Toed Cat, complete with a candlelit dinner and sparkling cider in their room....

and the lulling sound of the train when they went to bed. (mom loves to hear trains go by at nite). she was a very happy, which makes me very happy.

packed up my shit at 3 to move on down the road to 4 tomorrow. cleaned dishwasher. read a couple of Kindle short stories. Katie is bored. her summer is not exciting enough. had to turn furnace back on this morning....damn cold.
