Just sitting on my sun-dappled front porch enjoying this day the Lord hath made...

1st day at new barn went better than expected....nice to have help! came home exhausted to sit on the front porch a spell while Katie was tanning. planning an excursion Weds. to St Joe boot so Katie can look at boots, and then to Glore Psychiatric Museum and a meal and maybe shopping for a white skirt to go with the boots she might get....Kevin wants to go to chiropractor. NOT wasting my 1st day off in forever doing mundane shit, unless it is just sleeping all day!

today is the first day of "Summer Load Schedule" which means getting up earlier, going to work earlier, and supposedly coming home earlier. The ironic thing....we are having spring type weather. but, oh well. who needs that extra hour of sleep anyway....I get a day off tomorrow! have only had 1 day off since Todd left....not even sure when that was anymore...end of April/early May?
