picked up Z from school. she was heartbroken. she thought she was going to Owls Club and did not want to be a car rider today. she wanted her daddy. she watched YouTube on my phone and the car ride was pretty quiet. she didn't want her snack, she wasn't hungry, she was sad. I offered up Princeton Park and she had fun there. told her about the games her daddy & I would play there when he was little. she is much more confident on playground equipment now that she goes to school. we found the sand burrs in the other part of park up the hill. we looked at the old swimming pool. then we stopped at Mercer Park about dusk and read the Pete The Cat book on the walking trail for her Book It reading. she played a bit, then we headed to Grandma's to ride her Barbie Jeep in the dark under the yard light. she'd just came in for a drink when Daddy arrived. when I ran errands this morning, picked up a cake mix and eggs. we'll make a cake another day. not enough time today and it was too perfect of a day to be inside, anyway.
