I remember going to the video store in Chillicothe, Indianola, Bethany....we rented the vcr too, because they were so damn expensive we couldn't buy one.

there was the "over 21 adult room". weekend movie deals where you could keep the movie for 2 days. we used to rent Nintendo games, too. my favorite from Indianola was Bugs Bunny Crazy Castle. I stayed up all night to get through all the levels, then took a pic of Koren standing by the final level on the tv screen. We rented Power Rangers games from Princeton Ayrliner for KJ...finally bought them. Kate's fave vhs to rent at Ragan's Grocery in Mercer was The New Kid. when she was young and had sleepovers, we always went to Randy's to rent movies. any grocery trip to Ragan's usually resulted in a rental. or to Snappys in Princeton. the day the Avalanche got all the hail damage I was on my way to Princeton to return movies to Snappys...

we used to rent dvds too. that may be how I get to see Vacation...I think at one time Mercer had a video store, too, where the old liquor store was. don't remember ever going there. I have a movie rental card for Princeton Caseys so once upon a time must've rented something there. have never used a Redbox. just too damn far to return movies, but if you had one nearby, perfection. Kevin bought a vcr for Xmas when we lived in Indianola, that was a happy day...watching movies whenever we wanted!
