Happy New Year!

the husband had a surprise for me last nite.....a nite out! usually he's at work or I have to take Katie/pick her up, etc.....but the kids both had dates (and both has drivers licenses...) so we went to Pizza Hut to try a new pizza and had our first ever New Years Eve in a bar....Chumbleys at Trenton, where a co-worker recently won a pole dancing contest! bars are smoky and loud and you get jostled about. he knew guys in the band. I drank a whole Mike's Hard Lemonade. stayed till midnite, then came home to shower 'cause my hair smelled like smoke. will I ever go back to Chumbleys? It was nice, but I felt really old...the little black dresses...the chest tattoos...the gyrating on the dance floor. guess I sound really old,too. Kevin says they drop a guitar at Hard Rock Cafe on Beale Street...hope we can spend New Years Eve there sometime soon.....kinda wish I was spending this New Years Day recuperating...not going to work...
