is this the same Killer Grandma movie Rubber Duckie told me to watch? maybe yes, maybe no, but definitely freaky. and Grandma, you're trying too hard.

cleaned Kevin's bathroom. decided I'll make 4 more zombie dolls and if I like them, try listing them on Etsy. will definitely look into how to list, etc. watched new GA episode Ghost Train of Ely and learned that Stephen King was on a motorcycle trip and stopped in Nevada and heard the story about Chainman Mine Cave In and that is what Desperation is based on. will have to re-read it. AND i re-did the fridge magnets. this has been on my mind for a bit. a close friend of Katie's lost his dad in an accident today. life is so fleeting. I am bad about stomping off and not distributing goodbye hugs & kisses and love yous...I don't like this about myself, but hey, I yam what I yam and that's all that I yam.

after my epic road trip made a big zombie voodoo guy. he has a beanie, a flannel button down, jeans, and one shoe. untied, of course.

decided he needs some fly buttons...so ordered some from Etsy. my next project? a couple of voodoo fly dolls. will have to think on it...

paranormal road trip.....autumn breeze in my hair....

really was a perfect day! drove over some bridges that look like they should be haunted....and just a good, peaceful vibe all day. I. am. somewhat. of. a. paranormal. investigator.

11/5/2020 back to Lemons Poor Farm today for autumn pictures, could see much more of the house, very exciting! can't wait till ALL the leaves fall to see even more! will definitely have to do winter and spring pictures as well. today could see more windows, a side fire escape, a sign on front of building....

woke up and today was the day....paranormal road trip!

headed to Baring, MO (tried to find the hotel this summer, but I was t thinking it was in nearby Edina....)to see if I could tell where the Hotel Baring had once sat. unfortunately, no. the only building # I could see was 4hundredsomething, and the hotel was 167. there is still a beautiful old church and grotto. but, now I know. drove through tiny towns, saw lots of critters (including a black cow peacefully munching grass on the exact edge of the blacktop)....signs: Impassible During High Water. Sharp Curves. One Lane Bridge. Bump. beautiful trees in all the glory of autumn. harvest going on. old barns. Something I didn't see a lot of: convenience. as in need to pee and buy another Pepsi. I never saw anything till I'd blown right on past it. "This historic hotel is believed to be haunted, and was formerly a railroad stopover during the early twentieth century era. The building is believed to be haunted by several apparitions, who are believed to be associated the building as it changed hands and uses over the many years of its occupation. The first is believed to be a former banker who was murdered in the hotel. Passing motorists and pedestrians have seen an elderly man in a trenchcoat ascending a flight of steps in front of the building, who suddenly vanishes into thin air. The second apparition is that of a young girl in a white dress, who has been seen playing in the hotel hallways. The third is a sombre woman in period clothing, who has been seen staring down into the street with a saddened expression on her face. Late at night, local residents have heard scream coming out of the building, but upon investigation have found nothing." comments: 2016 - "This building has been torn down." 2018 - "as a former resident of Baring I have never heard these stories. I am sure no banker was murdered there. I grew up in the house formerly owned by the banker and he lived elsewhere after the bank failed in the depression years."
(this is a picture I found on line. glad someone had posted one!)

still don't have an official President yet....seriously. mail in votes. they did that drivers license thing for a reason right?

wear a mask and gloves and go vote. or vote absentee with ID. think of how many potentially affected strangers touched your mail with their germy little hands. is that really safer? this will likely drag on forever, but does generate some good memes. are all the rumors of dead people getting mailed ballots true? or multiple ballets sent to same person? just a disaster waiting to happen. D.I.A.S.T.E.R. blame it on the Covid. (Covid19, that is)
and in other news, someone put a pic of me with my hair up on Facebook....
I watched Tiger King on Netflix when it first came out....then had to watch it all again 'cause I felt like I'd missed something? it didn't make sense. but I'd seen it all. twice.
then I watched Ghost Adventures Halloween Special Horror At Joe Exotic Zoo. twice. crazy crazy crazy. communication with the spirit of Travis. seeing some of the old gang...the horse pissing in Joe's house....investigating in Allen's trailer while he's thrashing around in bed asleep in front of the tv....tiger piss smells like buttered popcorn...and that penis pump. watched it twice, too....

Zerelda wanted to feed the dog....we watched Blippi...then I went to work for a bit to help on truck day (I am still the worlds worst cashier.) and Mommy came and took her home.

started my grandbabies photo book of sorts...the other grandma is upset about us posting pictures of visits with grandbabies on social media...and I get it. I do. so am old schooling it. we are fortunate to see Ian, Coralie, Violet, and Millie as often as we do. of course I would love to see them even more...Zerelda lives here part time and sometimes we don't see much of her, either. Kevin watched election coverage last night...but it's Covid19 and they did all the mail in and other weird voting options so everyone felt safe. who knows how long it'll take to tally it all up. and probably recheck it...inauguration isn't until January, right? no. big. rush. I. did. not. vote. Republican. or. Democrat. I have lost faith in the system. the two parties fight about everything. you can't pass bills and do important shit if you don't work together and compromise some. the system is flawed. but at this point, can there be a do-over? make it more about public service, less about perks for life. politics is kinda like religion, I think. everyone's in it for the paycheck. if politicians made minimum wage, no one would run. and if they had to finance their own campaign? that's just my two cents. I feel the need to throw it out there more and more. I am becoming a crochety old lady at a rapid rate. here I am. now get off my lawn.
