3. somewhat surprisingly all that ( fill in blank) says turns out to be mostly true. ( some people do have unbelievably bad childhoods and lives)

4. it's hard for me to tell you what was wrong with my family because I didn't know any different. that's how I was raised.

5. telling children they didn't deserve to be born and don't deserve to live.

6. the poorest of the poor in a lower- middle-class neighborhood.

14. in her heyday no one could've said she was unattractive. today however ...life has chewed on her. ( we all have our own idea of beauty.)
