I found this accidently on a picture at Casey's waiting in line for bathroom....

the tower had become a quirky tourist landmark, with Stanton marketed as "home of the world's largest coffeepot." In 1971 the tower was painted in the guise of a Swedish coffeepot — complete with giant handle and spout, and a knob on top — in honor of famous daughter Virginia Christine. The late Stanton native portrayed "Mrs. Olson" in a popular series of Folgers Coffee TV commercials. (A larger, 150,000-gallon water tower made to look like a cup and saucer was added in 2000.)
Instead of towering 125 feet in the air, the world's largest coffeepot now will be tucked among the rooftops, with its underbelly a mere three or four feet off the ground. But it will be lavished with a $73,000 repainting to make sure the coffeepot gleams in what no doubt will be more frequent tourist photos thanks to its closer accessibility.
