yesterday Kevin took an early out at work, dumped the trailer at junkyard, and then did an epic mother-in-law job replacing mom's busted up by the po-po door for the one she got on swap shop.

a door that was too short, somehow almost too wide, and required a lot of figurin' and redneck engineerin' to fit into the spot. plus a 2x4 and a piece of trim that we'll find and add on our next trip. and maybe some paint? Mom had door knob sets from an auction. woman is prepared for any eventuality. gotta admire that. I usually beg off Mexican because the sound of Spanish still hurts my ears after damn near 3 years out of the barns...but he earned it. he. earned. it.
