I'm just your average grandma who believes in Bigfoot and ghosts and is fascinated by serial killers....

what I'm reading....Cooking with a Serial Killer - Recipes from Dorothea Puenta
which led to another book about Dorothea I ordered off amazon, but sadly her website www.evilnow.com is no longer a thing. she had art and jewelry on there. Kevin didn't get a deer today, he shot one, but it trespassed onto the neighbor and he couldn't go after it. (he can't trespass, either. something we have in common.) did a Walmart run and were going to eat at Toot Toots for prime rib buffet, but Kevin hadn't ate all day and got sick, so got fries and sweet tea at McDonalds drive thru and headed home. now he's sleeping in the chair in front of a Hallmark Christmas movie.
the first day of deer season has blown in a bit blustery....but my man is out there.
I will go to work in a few. we used to go to deer hunters breakfast together, but no one does them anymore. my 2nd day of new Body Groove dvd, kinda got bored with the one I had and my back was acting up...made it through last night without any back spasms. (shit: did. I. speak. too. soon?) Zerelda wanted outside in a princess dress and tennis shoes. my grandma advice...let her. she'll get cold and come back in. (how the fuck did my kids survive my parenting skills?)

"Just shut the fuck up. The time for whistling past the graveyard's over. You need to cut the crap."
yeah, I know Steve is saying this to Johnny, but I feel like Stephen King is speaking directly to me. I am full of crap lately. a lot of bitterness and hate and other bad stuff. a lot of opinons and feelings that keep falling right out of my mouth. a lot of lock yourself in the basement with a sewing machine and cold Pepsi and make some zombie dolls stuff. and yet, I have picked up an extra shift and will run the register (which I have now put on a level equal to unloading P1s alone, then reloading the truck with culls...alone. I have blown it all out of proportion.) but it is one of my favorite days. Friday. The. 13th. I love them because of the spooky aspect, and they're scattered throughout the year. no one and done like Halloween. (sorry, Halloween. truth.) my husband at this very minute is supposed to be moving his dad to a local nursing home. he is not good with it. a hard day for Kevin. and his dad. but they will take care of him there. the DON is one of the best people I know. she'll run a tight ship. and someone else may lose her absolute power over everything. and I think that's good, too. and there I go with the bad stuff again....
