but this...this...well, this was something I don't think I'll ever forget. ever.

A filmmaker tries to prove that ghosts are real but soon regrets his intentions after he finds himself being terrorized in a haunted house by a ghost with a dark past. An authentic documentary that shows actual ghost footage that was captured on camera.
scary. fucking. shit. and a ghost hunter with his own plane? I'm jealous. that would make so much more accessible for #ghosthuntingwithtracyanddeb

today is the day that The Sasquatch People goes back on the shelf.

I made it to page 168. and I just can't. life is too short. I enjoyed the documentary series. but this. nope. nope. nope. and the book will look nice on the shelf. next to the other 2 of his books I purchased. Jersey Devil help me.

we made it and vacation is upon us!

Miss Z brought her mommy & daddy over to visit. we're about packed up. have my fave comfy sweats in the washer, have to get them dried and packed. it's gonna happen. it really is.

last night we had breakfast for supper at Crazy Horse Cafe

tonight we went to see Angel Has Fallen (Kevin's choice) and as Kevin movies go, it was ok, but definitely could've used a Bigfoot or two in the forest scenes....who better to protect the President than a Sasquatch? exactly.
and, I've come to accept the Senior Citizen Discount, I guess. I might as well get used to the mother fucker. it has reared it's ugly head a lot lately...
come on, picture it with me. how fabulous would a Bigfoot be in these scenes?
and some Sonic. and I ordered an age appropriate Highlights magazine sub. for each of the grandkids....'cause how cool will it be to get their own mail?

Happy national daughters day to the girl who made me a mom. You keep me on my toes and I couldn’t imagine my life without you. I love you more than anything in this world and I’m so glad I’m your mom. You are my sunshine Zerelda James Dailey ❤️

this one's on the bucket list....In 2015, a storm blew through Amber, Iowa. When it had passed, two hula hoops were dangling off the limbs of a tree on County Home Road. No one is sure if someone put the hula hoops there, or if they were somehow blown in the wind and lodged into the tree during the storm, as the local legend holds. In any case, more and more hula hoops began to appear on the tree. There are now more than 50 colorful hoops hanging from the branches. It’s a mystery as to who started adorning the tree with the toys, or why. But the whimsical tradition has spread its roots further and further through Iowa as more people come to seek out the curious tree, some adding their own hula hoop. If you visit, be sure to look down at the ground, too. One local woman has occasionally been placing rocks with a picture of the hula hoop tree painted on them at the trunk of the tree, a delightful bonus for those who find them. Know Before You Go The tree is in the community of Amber in Jones County, about 3.4 miles east of US151 between the towns of Anamosa and Monticello.

I really do miss these days....even the boosting them up there!
