this is on my bucket list, but maybe I'll just tour Churchill Downs and use my imagination. Honestly!

saw on facebook last nite that there will be a Chiefs signing 12/12/14 in Kansas

Poe is Kevin's fave...it's him, Berry, and Houston. so, Kevin texted me from work asking if he needed to take off the 12th. I got on line, there were still tickets, got him a POE. so then he says, Try HOUSTON. so now he has 2 autograph tickets. have to pick them up there after 4 p.m. google maps says 2hr 18min. drive. so, hopefully he can get the nite off and I since I already have 3 days off that week....I can leave early or switch one or something....look at us being all cool Chiefs fans and such!

just watched The Dead Files....

the house is haunted by an (accused) abusive husband and the wife who killed him with a shotgun after he attacked their son with a knife. this could be caused by the demon who resides in the barn. wow.

the missing Kindle was found when Kevin made the bed today.

lost 4 days, still had half battery. wonder if the last book I ordered got on there? hmmmmmm. so many books, so little time to read.

meanwhile, in Iowa...

found a new facebook page....this has been an event filled day....took Miss to school, strawed outside dogs, went to school Veterans Day program, took a nap, watched Finding Bigfoot, got bills ready to mail, made vet appt. for boarding, made lunch, laundry...need one more signature on Marie's bday card and it can go in mail tomorrow. not working throws my routines out of whack....my phone has died 2 days straight because I forget to plug it in. white girl problems.

yeah, I agree with this to the extent that I won't get plastic surgery, but not to the extent that I will give up hair dye and wrinkle cream....

Copich's revelation is one that moms far and wide can relate to. In 2012, blogger Allison Tate wrote about how she was absent from all of her family photos and made a declaration to Stay In The Picture. Her words went viral, inspiring thousands of moms to submit their photos. Tate explained why it's so important for her kids to see photos of her. "I want them to see the way I looked at them, see how much I loved them. I am not perfect to look at and I am not perfect to love, but I am perfectly their mother."

have doily and old blue jeans....make a pillow! also patched up denim quilt.

picked up the radio from mom....Grandpa Vermal bought it at (was it Montgomery Wards? Kevin thinks it was. I honestly can't remember.) then on a grocery run and ate some Mexican food. vicious wind.
