last nite KJ was going to the movies and Katie was fishing with Kayla....I got home from work, Kevin told me to grab my camera and some shoes. We drove down some back roads, had supper at Crossroads, then picked up Ms. Boo.
had a brief violent rain storm today, Kevin & Kate worked cows and mowed yards. found ribbon to finish her bday gift for Kyla. a huge frog surfaced while Kevin was mowing.....
I got home from work, Kevin invited me out. I put on a strappy shirt, we looked at cars at Barnes Baker, then we went to Trenton Cinema to see Godzilla....which was awesome! and brought back good memories of watching the original Godzilla movies with Bubba. then we went to Pizza Hut to try out the new BBQ pizzas...Kevin played Pac-Man, then there was a stop on the way home....it was 1983 all over again, as long as I didn't look in a mirror!
Katie drove me hither and yon to decorate graves in Harrison County. Just met some very distant relatives while decorating Aunt Nan's grave and got to reminisce about times past...small world. Leave it to me and Katie Dailey to make friends at the cemetery!
she won lots of candy awards----they don't give out many pins anymore---she got 1. Brittany over p.m. to watch scary movies and they critiqued them with KJ. tried out the frog pattern for GS....love it! used the rest of the beach bag and some denim....esp. love the Coraline button eyes! but have to go buy rice tomorrow....needed rice, not stuffing. finished the penny gazing ball and moved it to "The Courtyard." bills.
got Katie picked up from school...she had super EOC grades AND is the first English student ever to get 100% on 2 finals! she survived that hated P.E. class and will never have to take it again! she drove us to Trenton to Caseys for a drink, then to dentist, then to Chillicothe where she shopped at Goody's and Maurice's for summer clothes, then a snack at Sonic, then drove home. she did great! her poor face is peeling and hurting. and folks, we are 1 day closer to vacation!!!
I have a cavity to get fixed. Katie's wisdom teeth are coming out this summer....have to find a time around vacation, Royals games, and church camp. she is contemplating who to date this summer. the world is this little girls oyster!
