JUSTICE SERVED ‘Alaskan Bush People’ Behind Bars! Billy & Josh Brown Sentenced To 30 Days In Jail The reality stars will do time for lying about living in Alaska. Posted on Jan 12, 2016 @ 11:08AM

Alaskan Bush People patriarch Billy Brown, 63, and his second oldest son Josh “Bam Bam” Brown, 31, were sentenced to 30 days in jail as part of a plea deal relating to their infamous lying and stealing case, RadarOnline.com has learned. According to the Alaskan Dispatch News, the father/son duo each pleaded guilty to one misdemeanor count of second-degree unsworn falsification in court last night for lying on government forms about their Alaskan residency. The Discovery reality stars will also have to complete 40 hours of community service, and pay back a total of $9,130 in money they swiped from the state government. They also must cough up $12,000 in fines. Billy and Josh were ordered to report to jail by April 15. As Radar exclusively reported from Alaskan District Court documents, the eccentric family, also including matriarch Ami, 52, and three other sons, were charged with a total of 60 counts of theft and unsworn falsification in 2014. Authorities accused the reality stars of pretending to live in Alaska so they could apply for thousands of dollars in dividend checks from the state. Over a four-year span, the family took home $27,000 in unearned cash. In reality, the family was reportedly living in Texas, Colorado, Washington and Arkansas— which shocked fans who were lead to believe they had lived in the Alaskan wilderness for many years. In November, Billy and Josh presented a plea deal to the court, but it was promptly shut down by the judge. The judge claimed the pair deserved jail time for their crimes. In good news for the family, charges against Ami and the others were dropped as part of the deal.

"You know, salaries? Lunch breaks? And the staff came and did their job and went home and ate supper and slept and came back and did their job and went home and ate their supper and slept and woke and came back and did their job. -That's partly how you get anything done, especially a chore whats dreadful, dreadful. - Honey? we've all got to be real careful of what we can get used to."

today:

Kevin didn't get much sleep. KJ texted him that he broke his phone. Kevin was on phone with Verizon to get his old Droid switched to KJ, then to Princeton to finish that, then took to KJ at Bethany, then got stuff for flower bathtub and to fix toilet and basement shower...Kate has a thing with being personally invited to stuff....and although there was a letter from school inviting her to atheltic banquet hanging on fridge....she didn't go, but found out she got Academic Team All Conference! and she told me she got a 34 on practice ACT reading!!!!! tenderloins from Feedlot for supper. got a $269 bonus check, so ordered True Blood Season 7. this journey is almost complete! dreary rainy evening.

baby Coralie Jessamine is growing into the headband Grandma Deb bought her!

"Life improves as you get older and wiser. Don't make the same mistakes.". Chip Hailstone

Glen is taking an outdoor shower in Alaskan winter again....Sue has a wolverine in camp and the generator won't start, she has a very descriptive vocabulary. Even Charlie Brown can't arg! like she does! Chip & Carol trapped 2 rabbits. Jesse has the dog team out clearing trails and is camping out there in the snow. He is happy. they all seem so happy. I am sure they also have bad days where they just want to throw their hands up in the air. I also rewatched the Finding Bigfoot South Park episode.
today was Jess's last day, and her parting words to me as I was hanging wean cards in g barn, "I really hope you get the hell out of here soon." her and me both.
upstairs toilet flusher broke, have to take off tank lid and use chain to flush. downstairs toilet flushing super duper slow. Kate says it's like being Amish...
AND facebook showed me videos from KJ's last school play. I laughed, I cried. that boy was an actor, by God. and sings like an angel. I sure miss hearing him sing. thank God for facebook videos!

love seeing horses and buggies on the square....

"You gotta be prepared all the time. Conserve what you have and always save some for tomorrow." Edna Korth, The Last Alaskans

I am home baking banana bread after watching tv with my daughter, not in the hospital. have a few bucks in the bank and

the bills are paid. I should be very thankful for what I have. I forget that sometimes....

this morning went as good as can be expected....then about lunch time found out I had a class to attend and I lost it.

teary-eyed the rest of the day. did the web ex. freaking out about the new data entry. and Jess leaving and being replaced by a pregnant girl. a senior citizen and a pregnant girl? what the fuck? guess I've been thru worse. will just have to keep on keepin' on for the next 10 days. I wish Jess the best. I could also cheerfully run her off the road. I missed the better part of my kids growing up. and yes, I am a bit bitter.

back to work. just in case I don't make it out alive....these memes.

State FFA 2016

my last whole Monday off for a while....but it was a good one!

to Trenton with Kevin for our chiropractor/dentist appts. then KJ texted and he and Taylore where headed to the house, so we made a beeline home, hung out, took them out to lunch at Hometown Cafe. then Kevin & I went fishing, Kate joined us after school. made supper, then a walk at the park and a long conversation with Ruth & Cheryl.

Koren Wills 45 mins · Ian is absolutely not tired and doesn't need to go to bed (he literally fell asleep as he told us this)

a facebook app says I'll die 3-11-2051 from measles.

hell, I got plenty of time to watch Season 7! which sadly, is the last season. still have a stack of movies to watch....westerns and bigfoot. might even get that victorian crazy quilt done!

True Blood Season 6 is done. have spent too much $$$ online to order Season 7. maybe next month...

cleaned garage. cleaned floors. airing out house.

"Destiny is too big a bitch to keep fighting." Sookie Stackhouse, True Blood

or something pretty similiar to that. so many wise words spoken on True Blood. I still can't believe that my daughter Koren found the book series, and her and KJ both watched the HBO series, and I only found out about it during our New Orleans trip. so much time wasted!

4.23.2016

today there was no alarm. baked scones so Kate could eat before work.

watched 5 episodes of True Blood Season Six. made lunch. took a couch nap. took a shower. did some work on courtyard.

Gosh he's so handsome 😍

love Taylore's posts on facebook!

quotes that apply to my life from my tv shows:

"This is not a good hallway to be in. It is very bad in here." Amy, The Dead Files. this would be any hallway where I am attempting to move or wash sows. Not good.
"This is how we manage now for as long as we can. That's how it is." Fear The Walking Dead. my job.
"For now we're just happy to be right here in the place we are." Life Below Zero. any day off work.
"The world ain't gonna get any easier. We ain't helping him none by keeping him soft." Underground. raising our kids.
"Hey, anybody need to say a prayer, take a shit, make a phone call?" Outsiders. this sounds like something my husband would say on a road trip...

“In other places, culture comes down from on high. In New Orleans it bubbles up from the street.” --Ellis Marsalis

put the $30 cash for Tracy's ticket behind tv.....and guess what. the $20 fell back in there with all the cords and shit...

tried to fish it out with broom handle. no dice. afraid to try to move dresser and knock tv off and break it....guess this will be joint effort someday. kind of a redneck savings account, I guess...
printed off locker pictures for work: a prom one of Kate & Jared. one Koren took of Ian & Coralie. AND the Nick Groff tour ticket! put it on side of fridge. damn, but it is good to have a printer again!

I made it home in time for a driveway hug, stumbled thru feeding the critters, and safely made it onto the couch with hot tea and shortbread cookies.

after some tv viewing (aka couch napping), I have had breaktime texts from Kevin, ventured downstairs to switch laundry, and fed Kate's fish. also got on amazon.com to add to my Willow Tree mantle collection. adding a 3 generation grandma, mom, and girl for me, Koren, & Coralie. and a kindness boy with puppy for big boy Ian. and a couple for KJ & Taylore. already have a couple for Koren & Cody's wedding, a pregnant couple for pregnant with Ian, a grandma with baby for me and Ian, a reading boy for KJ, a girl for little girl Katie, a man and woman with baby for us and Koren, and a 3 piece set for Koren, KJ, and Katie. and when Katie gets married, will have to add another couple...and there is even a set of twins if anyone has them.....I dream big, people!

truth told, it's been a long week. too much work. not enough time communing with the couch, the t-shirt quilt, and my tv shows.

haven't seen my husband or daughter. not exactly living the dream, here folks. mgr. told me help is on the horizon, but probably half days off in May & June after my weekend instead of full ones. more than I expected. I wish I had the option to just quit. who doesn't want to stay home with their kids?
I used to tell myself I'd quit when Kate went to kindergarten, then I would go to TJC and learn a skill of some sort. she's now a junior. in High School. now I tell myself when we get KJ's student loan paid off, I'll apply for the next dispatch job or Casey's clerk job that comes up. and I'm not even sure when it is paid off. too afraid to look at the final date on the bills. sigh..... I have quit taking out 401k loans. I used to take one out, pay it off, take another one out, so I wouldn't quit. when I get this one paid off, I'm just biding time to jump ship. need to make sure my life jacket is operational.

of course, we didn't start with a beer, it was a look across a bus aisle.

There’s been highs and lows, fast lane freeways and bumpy roads
Cursed the devil and prayed to heaven, lost it all and we rolled some sevens
There’s been some smiles then there’s been tears, been more good than bad years
Ain’t it crazy baby how we got here

watched Mamma Mia with Katie tonight....she was very upset that the store where she bought the jeans wouldn't give her $ back, just gave her store credit.

plus the fact that she drove to Leon and back....we watched a movie, then Jared showed up and they shared cheesecake....
watching Mamma Mia made me realize yet again just how crochety and grumpy I have become. was there ever a fun lovin' deb? I was critiquing her falling down hotel. the entire island bursting into song and dance. would I love to have my own courtyard? hells to the yeah. would I love to never step foot in a hog barn again? amen, bruh. so, yeah, I am bitter. but I pay my fucking dues every day. every single day. I miss the fun lovin' deb. probably won't be seeing her until another vacation surfaces. she may never be back.

don't know how the prom kids are all faring, but this ol' gal is still tired...and I wouldn't change a thing!

Kate had a wonderful time, she was breathtakingly beautiful. she didn't win the Schlitterbaum tickets, but other than that, I think she was pleased.
Kevin to meet with a dr yesterday about his knee....guy told him nothing is wrong. NOTHING. bullshit. he bought a printer! NO MORE TRIPS TO THE LIBRARY TO PRINT SHIT!!!!! (Thank God!) very anxiety inducing!
